ASSOCIATION JOINS IN WRIT

Last week, the Association joined with several member companies to file the Writ of Prohibition in the State Supreme Court against the Oil & Gas Conservation Commission and three gas companies.  This Writ had been distributed and discussed for several weeks following the Commission’s granting of special field rules to some gas companies that allowed them to reduce the spacing from 3,000 feet to 1,000 feet.  Nick Preservati is lead counsel and is being assisted by Forrest Jones.  Copies of the Writ and supporting documents are available at the Association office.
