The Rule-Making Review Committee meeting

During the recently completed monthly Legislative Interim Committee meetings in Charleston, the Legislative Rule-Making Review Committee (LRMRC) approved the following rules that had been proposed by DEP.  The particular office within DEP that originated the rule is shown just before the specific rule.  None of these approved rules have a direct impact on our industry.  The Committee also removed a number of pending rules from their agenda that were related to the Office of Air Quality.  Rules approved by the LRMRC include:  Waste Management, Office of Department of Environmental Protection---Recycling Assistance Grant Program, 33CSR10; Secretary’s Office Department of Environmental Protection---Voluntary Remediation and Redevelopment Rule, 60CSR3; and, Environmental Excellence Program Rule, 60CSR8.
