CONSOL ENERGY’S HOFFMAN RECEIVES PR AWARD

CONSOL Energy Senior Vice President – External Affairs, Thomas F. Hoffman, was recently named 2008 Renaissance Communicator of the Year by the Public Relations Society of American (PRSA), Pittsburgh Chapter.  The award honors a practitioner for excellence in communications, including his or her leadership, scope of professional responsibilities, community activities, accomplishments and contributions to the profession.  Hoffman, who has been with CONSOL for 34 years, is the chief communications officer and is responsible for investor, public and community relations.  CONGRATULATIONS Tom, well deserved.
