BECKLEY -- The 8th Annual Friends of Coal Auto Fair will be held July 15-17 at the YMCA Paul Cline Memorial Youth Sports Complex in Beckley, West Virginia. This fun, family-oriented event will include a car show, carnival rides and games, great food, interactive sponsor displays, special guest appearances, mine safety competitions and more! Plus, for the first time ever, there will be not one but two nights of live entertainment!
Appearing live Friday, July 15th will be country up and comer Chris Janson; Clarksburg, West Virginia’s The Davisson Brothers Band; southern country rock band The BlackWater Outlaws; and North Central West Virginia’s the George Shingleton Band. Then on July 16th, enjoy performances by country music superstars Josh Turner and Little Big Town! Tickets for both shows are on sale now atwww.friendsofcoalautofair.com.
The Friends of Coal Auto Fair shines a positive light on the mining industry, and what it represents to our communities. It gives coal companies and suppliers a chance to come together to show and promote the importance of creating a clean and safe environment for our children; to educate and help the general public understand how important coal is to our past, present and future; and to show the positive impact the industry makes by giving back to our neighbors.
Join with us by sponsoring this show. Sponsorship information is available now online at www.friendsofcoalautofair.com. With a Bronze sponsorship, you’ll be able to obtain an exhibitor space for display purposes or to treat your employees to a company outing! (The car show, concert, carnival rides and other activities provide something for everyone without having to organize it yourself.)
Please note that all proceeds from the Friends of Coal Auto Fair help the YMCA of Southern West Virginia provide scholarships to children in need so they have access to its programs and services; purchase equipment to maintain a fun, yet safe environment for the participants in their youth programs; and maintain the YMCA Paul Cline Memorial Youth Sports Complex, so that youth from all over West Virginia and our surrounding states are able to benefit from this state-of-the-art venue.
