Ladies Auxiliary Opens New Headquarters

The Ladies Auxiliary of the Friends of Coal had an enthusiastic celebration with the opening of their new headquarters in Mabscott on May 1, 2008.  Chairwoman Regina Fairchild was noticeably excited as she announced the permanent location for the volunteer organization that has been very active over the past year.  The well-attended event heard specific welcomes and encouraging messages from State Supreme Court candidate Beth Walker and Raleigh County Commissioner Pat Reed.  Congratulations to the Ladies for their new headquarters building and a hearty thanks for making a positive difference for the industry.
