Mary Supcoe Continues Tradition

Thanks to Mary Supcoe (Crown Hill Equipment) for continuing the tradition of presenting Friends of Coal plaques at this week’s Girl’s Softball State Championships in Vienna, WV.  For the past four years, the Friends of Coal have presented plaques commemorating each student’s participation on the state championship or runner-up teams in the State Tournament for every sport in each of the three divisions of high school athletics.  Next weekend, Pritchard Mining's Rocky Hackworth and Crown Hill Equipment’s Chris Supcoe will make the presentations to the teams participating in the boys' State Championship baseball tournament that will be held at Appalachian Power Park in Charleston.
