The 2009 Friends of Coal Auto Fair is set for July 17-19 at the YMCA Paul Cline Memorial Youth Sports Complex in Beckley and the YMCA is looking for sponsors. Letters to previous sponsors have been sent and we hope that you will respond favorably.
The 2009 Friends of Coal Auto Fair will provide a variety of entertainment, including the car show; carnival rides; food vendors; a flea market; an arts and crafts area; special appearances by the Golden Knights Army Parachute Team, former WVU Head Football Coach Don Nehlen and former Marshall Head Football Coach Bob Pruett, and Jeremy Starks of the BassMaster Elite Series; a fireworks display; and the Saturday night concert featuring a performance by Randy Owen of Alabama with opening acts Abby Abbondanza and West Virginia’s own Taylor Made! Efforts are also being made to have Governor Manchin and Congressman Rahall. As you can see it is a full-filled two days!
All proceeds from the event help support the operation of the YMCA Paul Cline Memorial Youth Sports Complex.
