The sixth Annual Friends of Coal Auto Fair at the YMCA Youth Sports Complex in Beckley is set for July 17-19. This unique event allows our industry to promote coal mining and clean coal technology to the general public in a positive manner and would not be possible with the contributions of the member companies.
One hundred percent (100%) of the proceeds go directly toward maintaining the complex grounds, equipment and purchasing supplies for the activities held at the Sport Complex.
Friday, July 17th will feature a Cruise-In to uptown Beckley for the Beckley Renaissance Car Show, live entertainment featuring The Davisson Brothers Band, food, fun, prizes and awards. Vehicle Registration will be $15.00 in advance or $20.00 on the day of the Show and registration includes window sticker, 12 X 20 vehicle space, Friday Night Cruise-In to Uptown Beckley and entry to daily door prize drawings.
Saturday, July 18th will have special appearances by The Golden Knights Army Parachute Team, former WVU Head Football Coach Don Nehlen, former Marshall Head Football Coach Bob Pruett, BassMaster Elite Series fisherman Jeremy Starks and a live concert by Randy Owen of Alabama with Abby Abbondanza and Taylor Made. Saturday Night Concert admission is $15.00 in advance or $20.00 day of show. Tickets are available at select WV & VA Marquee Cinemas and the Beckley Raleigh County YMCA.
