Coal River Energy's Jim Bunn II was elected to the Board of Directors
for a term ending in 2010. Jim and Coal River's people have been very
active with the environmental and health & safety committees as
well as being a noticeable leader in Friends of Coal events and
activities. Congratulations to Jim and extend a welcome to him for his
willingness to serve on the Board of Directors.

Also, it is important to note that longtime Board member and past Chairman John Skidmore has resigned from the Board since he is no longer involved in any active mining or reclamation projects. He assured us he will stay involved and be ready to assist in any way possible from his new home in Upshur County. We thank John for his years of valuable service and guidance and wish he and Carol the absolute best.
